40. Rated   Charlotte was a pretty girl. She tried to tell people that she wasn't, but it never worked out. She hated the feeling she would get when men viewed her. She saw the desire in their eyes, and it sickened her.

 Why was her body something that others could judge? It made her feel wrong, as if she didn't own herself. Why would someone do this to her? She had tried everything. It never worked. She thought cutting herself would be the answer; a marred body was not beautiful. It didn't work either.

30. Underneath the Rain   It was her favorite weather. When dark, wet, drops fell from the skies. She stared at it through her window, listening to it's beating sound, taking in the smell of the fresh, clean, atmosphere. It filled her with an instinctive longing.
Today was her sister's wedding. Though her pretty sister was dissapointed by the weather, Amy thought it couldn't have been better. But nevertheless, Stacy moved her wedding into a church.

 Amy hated churches. They were always cold, boring, and filled with old ladies who shushed you like librarians.

32. Night   The Moon was aglow with an eerie light. He would have enjoyed it any other time. Tonight there was nothing in it for him. An owl hooted in the distance, and the unexpected sound sent a jolt down his spine. It wasn't his fault that the beauty of the night had been stolen from him.
The older woman had warned him. She told him the coins would dissappear. And now everyone had left. The money, the power, his father, the girl, even his dog. All of them victims of his greed.

 At least they were safe. He knew that he wasn't anymore. The figure that had begun to haunt his mind was still there, stewing, waiting for the chance to inflict more pain

  Don't speak to me out loud. They will hear you. They will put you away. They will find a way to get rid of me. They will kill me. If I'm dead I can't keep your secret.

  Please don't think me evil. I am not here to kill you. I am not here to hurt you. I am part of you. I am you. I will keep your secret.

  Why am I here? I am not sure. I ponder life as you do. I wonder why I am not in everyone. But I am alive. I have feelings, and I will keep your secret.

  What am I? I don't know, I don't care, but I will keep your secret.

  You should be glad for that, because even to me, I'm an awful secret.

I like it a lot but I just didn't get this line:

I don't know but it just sounds weird when I say it out loud...

But besides that I really like it.

36. Precious Treasure   From the time she was only 10 years old, having grown old of the baby dolls and Easy Bake Ovens, she knew she wanted children. Not right this second of course, especially because she didn't even really know how a baby was made, but later.

 As she grew and aged, she began to experience more and more. From her first kiss behind the bleachers, her sophomore year of high school, to her experiments with her hair. And though she changed so much, both physically and emotionally, the one want she had as a ten year old lingered on.

18. Rainbow   Thank God for the little things. The world seemed so busy lately, and Tonia's mind was spinning. With the work at the community service picking up, she was stressed out. Her hair was frizzy, her face was unmade, and her clothes were wrinkled. As she pulled into the drive way of her suburban household, she hung up her black coat.

 Putting her head in her hands, she ripped open her briefcase. She started to scribble with a ball piont pen. Her shuffling of papers drowned out all of the other sounds outside.
